ПИСАЊЕ КОЛАБОРАЦИОНИСТИЧКОГ ЛИСТА НОВО ВРЕМЕ О ВОЈНОЈ И ПОЛИТИЧКОЈ СИТУАЦИЈИ У НДХ 1941–1944. ГОДИНЕ
THE WRITING OF THE COLLABORATIONIST NEWSPAPER NEW TIME ABOUT MILITARY AND POLITICAL SITUATION IN THE INDEPENDENT STATE OF CROATIA (NDH), YEAR 1941­1944

Summary/Abstract: When creating the picture of war in Balkans region and world fronts, the propagandists of Nedic's Government were preconditioned by requests of the German censorship in that respect that they were obliged to take over „recommended” German contents and adjust them for placement in domestic public. „The National Salvation Government” has conducted organized political and propaganda activity for saving refugees from NDH and against Ustasha crimes against Serbian people. At the same time, the public was informed trough the newspaper on political situation in the vassal creation of the Third Reich. Responsibility for the Serbian suffering was attributed to the Croatian government, while the remarks of the public on the German guilt were interpreted as malicious propaganda and defamation. Department for the state security at the same time as the Department of state propaganda has led political and propaganda activity on saving Serbian people during the occupation. Most of the political interventions of the Nedic's Government, with the aim of saving orthodox Serbian people in NDH, didn't have positive result since it was related to the territories under the German allies or was opposed to German interests in occupied Serbia. The work of „The National Salvation Government” on prevention of suffering of Serbian people couldn't bring expected results. First of all, this was due to the Hitler's widespread hostility and distrust towards Serbs, as well as the need of the German state not to contribute alienation in the time of hesitation of the allies. At the same time, it was one of the reasons to sanction Serbian newspaper from writing on Croatian situation and to minimize news on suffering of the Serbian people.
