Alternative Penalties in the Application Practice in the Slovak Republic

Summary/Abstract: Our contribution is based on content from the scientific and research tasks of the Agency to support research and development on „Restorative Justice and Alternative Sanctions System in the Slovak Republic“. In the first stage, we evaluated the theoretical aspects of this issue (edition monographs and conference proceedings). We are currently working in the contents of the second stage, where the issue of restorative justice and alternative penalties assessed in the context of research. At this stage, they come to the fore work to refine the theoretical results of research activities, with emphasis on the use and application of compensation (restitutionary) theory.
