Summary/Abstract: Bereits im Jahre 1957'h at A. Benac aufgrund seiner Grabungen in der Crvena stijena die dort entdeckte Impresso-Keramik aus Schicht III einem Frühneolitlhikum zugeordnet. Er hat damit wegweisend für weitere Forschungen im ostadriatischen Raum, erstmals eine Vordanilozeitliehe neolithische Keramik identifiziert, die mit westadriatischer Ware in Verbindung gebracht werden konnte.
