Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to point out difficulties in the shaping of texts written in Polish by people with hearing difficulties. Because the topic is relatively little studied, at the beginning the focus was on bringing closer available literature. The next part of the article presents the problems associated with status of polish language for the hearing-impaired. Is it first, second or foreign language for them ? These findings determine the analysis of testing material. The third part presents an analysis of selected aspects regarding the shape of syntax in texts written by hearing-impaired with special attention to the cohesion of text.
