Summary/Abstract: The work of evangelization of the world should be still renewed and dynamic. Church likewise, should be constantly renewed, animated or reformed. He does so because, by nature Ecclesia is semper renovanda et reformanda. The Pope Francis encourages and insists on pastoral conversion. He points out that in the present day the Church, together with all its structures, has to adopt a missionary orientation. All his actions have to be subjected to the task of proclaiming the Gospel to the modern man, in order to bring him personally to God. The Aparecida Document calls for conversion of pastoral care and its structures through a continental mission to stimulate the Church of Latin America and the Caribbean to the mission. Missionary activity must be run parallelly in each country. The main purpose of the continental mission is to care that the Church and local communities were in a state of constant mission. Pastoral conversion consists of the transition from the conservative pastoral care to the definitely missionary pastoral care. Missionary activity, as pointed out in the Aparecida Document, can take place when a person goes through a personal and communal encounter with Christ. He is the One who makes change in every man that he becomes His true disciple – the missionary of the Lord.
