MAKING THE REALITY IN FICTION THEMATIC

Summary/Abstract: The author of the article emphasizes the relation between social and literary reality. The relation among them is understood as a contact of material, theme and problem. Facts of life in the society of the 20th century caused that the authors had made statements to present-day non-literary reality by the means of their texts. It was in contradiction with author’s understanding of freedom, authentic creativeness and value of art in real facts of life in the society to which the author belonged. There is no reference in the article neither to authors and their texts hidden behind the theme with the function of mask nor to reality that the author got in touch with the facts of life in the society. The author of the article draws her attention to circumstance that in modern fiction is character in belles-lettres texts used for expression of this tension.
