Summary/Abstract: The focus is on finding diversified solutions to support small and medium family businesses in their pursuit of innovation to compete in market segments. The role of introducing strategic management and consulting support for family businesses was considered. The way of preparing the consultations in connection with organizational solutions, which can be realized through the Polish Craft Association, is indicated.
