COORDINATION FUNCTION OF STRATEGIC CONTROLLING IN THE LIGHT OF THE RESULTS OF NATIONWIDE RESEARCH

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the results of research in the field of coordination function of strategic controlling implemented in organizations operating in Poland. The research was carried out using a questionnaire technique. The survey was filled in by people who are responsible for the implementation and functioning of controlling, assuming that strategic controlling is a component of controlling in general. On the background of the characteristics of detailed issues concerning the coordination function of strategic controlling, the results of research related to these issues were presented. These include specifying the strategic controlling function applied in organizations, the scope of tasks within the coordinating function of strategic controlling and the realization method of the coordination function of strategic management. The results were presented in general form and taking into account the most important criteria differentiating them – the size of the organization and the type of environment.
