Summary/Abstract: The present article is devoted to the organization of fire protection in both private and state companies. It sets out the technical requirements that which a building should meet during technical acceptance. It also discusses employers’ responsibilities towards employees in terms of safety on company premises. Based on the applicable legal literature, the author deals with fire-fighting equipment maintenance procedures, as well as the procedure to be followed in the event of a fire on the premises.
