Summary/Abstract: The paper provides information on the importance of scientificresearch and publishing activities as affirmation of archival activity. After the endof the horrors of war and consolidation in personnel and professional capacities,the Historical Archive of Sarajevo continues with its fruitful scientific researchand publishing activity. The first post-war publication in 1998 was the posthumousedition of the book by Rašid Hajdarevic titled Defters (books) of Sarajevo’s saracguild (1726-1823). Special attention will be given to joint scientific research and publishingprojects with archives in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region (Archive of Bosniaand Herzegovina, Archives of TK, Dubrovnik State Archives, Archives of Styria -Graz, Historical Archive “Ras” Novi Pazar etc.).
