Summary/Abstract: In this essay I’ll try to answer what the mental health ‒ considered in reference to society ‒ is, how it is conditioned and what are its objective manifestations. I assume that the progress in this domain is possible only when adaptation to social needs concerns all kinds of human activity while unequal development of potentials introduces disturbs which can cause mental disorders. The progress limited to one area (economics, politics, culture) is destructive for the mental balance. Life in time of rapid transformations which are focused on motion, change, abundance is a challenge for human mental construction and requires both axionormative revalorizations and usage of new adaptive techniques. One of the indicators of those changes is the attitude towards time, time planning, time interpretation and its role in forming of new social structure. It seems that attempts to understand changes in attitude towards time can show us conditioning of life and mental health in new perspective. I assume it has essential meaning for these explications.
