Summary/Abstract: Complete population of Jadar region was disturbed by migrations and re-migrations during the 18th and 19th century. Great majority of the population do not originate from Jadar, but represent a kind of “complex” population settled in certain historical circumstances from different Serbian regions. That was influenced by transit and border location of the Jadar region between Turkish and Austrian Empires in the 18th century, and between Serbia and Turkish Empire in the 19th century. Considerable number of refugees was settled in this area from the war-affected Bosnia and Croatia in the late 20th century. The paper statistically analyzes the origin and migrations of the population.
