Summary/Abstract: Corporate governance covers a range of external and internal control mechanisms used to strengthen or ensureeffective supervision of a company by its owners. The main purpose of the study is to present controlmechanisms in companies co-owned by the State Treasury. The research shows that to supervise such companies,the state often uses both external and internal corporate governance mechanisms.
