Foreign capital in Poland including foreign direct investment

Summary/Abstract: Foreign direct investment is one of the key external sources of capital. If the value of capital inflow to the country is greater than the capital which in the form of investment flows from it then foreign direct investment in the short term increases its capital stock. This is particularly important for countries which suffer from the shortage of own capital, where foreign direct investments complement the scarce resources of enterprises. The purpose of the article is to present the evolution of foreign direct investment in Poland as an external source of domestic capital power.
