Private equity and venture capital funds in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe

Summary/Abstract: Corporations, in order to be able to run business activities, must be provided with enough capital. The capital at the disposal of the company needs to be used in the best possible way. The article focuses on the notion of the private equity and venture capital market. The text analyses the private equity and venture capital market in the Central and East European countries. Moreover, the condition and the potential of the Polish private equity along with the venture capital is evaluated in the article.
