Summary/Abstract: The religious cult is the basic form of confession of faith and a moral duty of Christians. More and more new figures of the God’s cult appeared in many diverse objects and forms in the history of the Church. Among them the cult of the Divine Mercy occupies special place nowadays, which originator - together with Saint Sister Faustyną Kowalska - was Blessed Father Michał Sopoćko. The present article is a characteristic of this cult in moral dimensions. The whole of these analyses was divided into three parts: historical and theological conditions, theological and normative bases as well as moral aspects of individual forms of the Divine Mercy’s cult.
