Summary/Abstract: Purpose – the purpose of this paper is the presentation of modern methodology of corporate real estate analysis (CRE), which will allow provide the further stages of research in subject of assess information requirements for organization, form of data collecting and sharing the information in databases conducted by public entities in Poland. Design/methodology/approach – Review of domestic and foreign literature, analysis and assessment of conducted CRE researches in Poland and own, regional market research of CRE. Findings – Ordering and recommendation for using modern methodology of corporate real estate analysis and preparing a methodological basis for researching the scope of necessary changes in public databases gathering real estate sales transactions data. Originality/value – Under the hypothesis of low efficiency of the corporate real estate market, article pointed the needs and possibilities of its improvement by supplementing the current objective approach of real estate market used in researches by Central Statistical Office of Poland and other public entities for a subjective approach to identify the CRE market. Using part of analysis methodology form developed markets, it determines the current information needs of investors in Poland, and this determinates the direction of changes in public sales transaction databases. The implementation of these solutions would improve the information efficiency of the CRE market and reduce the risk of investors.
