Summary/Abstract: Vocational training is the most rapidly changing part of education, as its aims are neatly connected with technological and economic changes. While these aims are changing, the content of learning/teaching is also changing. To ensure the quality of vocational education it is necessary to evaluate, follow, choose, supplement and correct the content of vocational education constantly, while transferring it to new teaching/learning content formation policy, which would be aimed towards general competences, the development of virtues and providing necessary competences for the specialists. Teaching/learning connect has to be based not only on giving and taking knowledge, but also analyzing it; it needs critical evaluation and practical usage, while connecting it with the practice of various spheres, searching for problems and dealing with it. Relevance of the article is based on education content reform in primary middle vocational training importance, where theoretical knowledge is emphasized and used in work practice. Professional activity requires suitable qualification, competences, as a possibility to independently, qualitatively and creatively, i.e. competitively act in specific sphere or profession. The content of professional activity covers not only ability to complete specific functions, but it is inevitably connected with its coordination and interaction.
