Summary/Abstract: Straipsnyje aptariama modulinio profesinio mokymo programos konstravimo logika. Nusakomi mokymo programos įgyvendinimo proceso modernizavimo aspektai. Aptariama modulinio profesinio mokymo programos sandara. Atvejo analizė atskleidžia modulinio profesinio mokymo programos įgyvendinimo aspektus tarp modulinės mokymo programos vadovo, modulio vadovų ir mokytojų. This paper discusses thelogicsof modular vocationaltraining programme design. The curriculum implementation process modernization aspects are outlined. It discusses the modular vocationaltraining programme structure. The case study reveals the modular vocationaltraining programme implementation aspects with regards to the modular training programme manager, module leaders and teachers. The Lithuanian education system emphasizes modular training as a form increasing the attractiveness of learning, although the modular training may be most effectively implemented in the vocational training system. Lithuania is in the process of introduction of a vocational modular training system.Thevocational training aims to provide the competencies, thus, the competencybased modules designed provide an opportunity to acquire qualification asunder. Vocational training institution must have the material and human resources in order to successfully carry out the modular training programmes. Modular training, based on the competency-based structure of the acquisitionof competencies in qualification structure, creates an opportunity to architecturally compose a training programme so that the training module would reflect the needs/demands of the labour market,society and student. When considering the qualification acquisition it is important to realize that it is composed of the corresponding modules, which, when passed, confer the correspondingcompetencies, and on their basis,the qualification is being obtained.
