Asia’s pivot from the US towards…?

Summary/Abstract: We analyze the consequences of the change in US foreign policy following Trump’s election for the President of the USA. The aim is to answer the question whether the US decision to turn away from its allies in Asia will result in re-orientation of their foreign policy. Legal and political considerations are embedded in economic reality by analyzing the economic indicators of the US, China and selected Pacific countries. We positively verify that US foreign policy will not affect the density of US real relationships with their allies in the transatlantic and transatlantic space. What will change in the short and medium term will be the increase in US foreign policy costs. US will return to cooperation with TTP and TTIP partners. American-European alliance with East and South East Asia will survive the turbulence of turning towards isolationism in US politics. Regardless of China’s readiness to take the US position in these relationships, it is not a competitive partner.
