Analysis of logistics processes costs

Summary/Abstract: Running a business is correlated with incurring costs. They are related to resource management in enterprises and must be constantly analyzed and controlled. On the basis of cost information specific management decisions are taken. The analysis of the cost of logistics processes is part of a fragmented analysis of the company’s costs. Its purpose is to provide information on the incurred costs of logistic processes. The article attempts to identify the concept of “cost analysis of logistics processes” and to present and analyse the cost of logistics processes in generic terms in the selected company, whose core business is retail and wholesale of liquid fuels. Taken research problems and the set goal determined the choice of research methods such as literature review, analysis of materials inside the enterprise and indepth interview. The subject of research is the company from the oil sector, dealing with the distribution of fuel oil in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
