Summary/Abstract: In every society there is a mix of rules and regulations, practices and social policies or habits that ensure the social order, the internal cohesion, the stability and the continuity of society. Depending on this overall regulatory, the society judges and evaluates the behavior of its members in terms of their compliance with the universally recognized norms and values, norms and values that are standard for any individual. This tendency of the human behavior to be consistent with the prescribed rules and with the expectations of the group, to uncritically, mechanically, formally submit to any customs, ethics, judgment, ideas, etc. of the society, is expressed in what experts (and others) call compliance. The opposite state of compliances is noncompliance or deviance, which is rather a sociological phenomenon, not a psychological one. This comes from the fact that deviance can not be understood as a detached phenomenon or behavior, taken from the social context and it can not be explained only in terms of individual traits or hereditary characteristics.
