Summary/Abstract: Throughout the article, the author examines the role and the importance of the principle of judicial security within the act of justice and the enforcement of the rule of law. Judicial security is intended to protect individuals against the negative side effects of law, particularly against the inconsistencies and the complexity of laws and other legal acts, or against frequent changes of legislation (judicial insecurity).
