Summary/Abstract: Tourist attractiveness of a given region is examined in terms of quantity, quality and diversity of offered goods and services. It has a significant influence on the intensity of tourist traffic thereby determining tourists’ choices. The main aim of this paper is to present the results of the assessment of the tourist attractiveness of the city of Przemyśl based on the opinion of its inhabitants and tourists. In the light of the results, it was found that Przemyśl is perceived as a very attractive tourist destination. In the opinion of the respondents, Przemyśl is best known for its monuments of architecture and the Tatar Mound. The inhabitants also point out folwing and pipework, and the tourists on the crest of the city of Przemyśl. The famous cultural and entertainment events organized in Przemyśl include: Wincentiada, Kazimierzowski Castle Festival, Pipe Feast and Szwejkowskie Maneuvers. Transport accessibility of the city has been worse assessed by inhabitants than by tourists, same as tourist information and signs of attractions in the city. Among residents there is an opinion that Przemyśl does not use its tourist potential, whereas tourists are of the opposite opinion.
