Summary/Abstract: A travel website of a region is not only its representation and presentation of its offer. First and foremost is its showcase, promotion and communication tool with a tourist, as well as an invitation to visit. The purpose of this study is a comparative analysis of the official tourist portals of two regions: Subcarpathian Voivodeship and the Swiss Canton of Ticino. Research methodology focuses on both the contents and functionalities of the portals, as well as user experiences related to the visit on the website. The findings of the analysis can be an inspiration for the organizations responsible for the promotion of tourist regions in Poland.
