Limits on the freedom of local government entities to conclude contracts referred to in art. 3 of the Act on municipal management

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the research undertaken in this paper is an attempt to answer the question, whether local authorities by entrusting tasks related to municipal management has the option of using the contract freedom. Freedom of conclude is an important and interesting matter from the point of view of the regulation of art. 3 of the municipal economy Act, because forms a framework of a possible freedom in the shaping of contractual legal relationships in connection with the execution of public tasks by local authorities. In this respect, the article analyzes the entitlement of these entities to benefit from freedom of contract resulting from art. 3 of the municipal economy Act and other acts mentioned in that legal provision.
