The Attitude of Youth Schools' Heads to Organization of Education Process of Pupils Who Have Lost Learning Motivation

Summary/Abstract: The regaining of lithuania independence and consolidation of statehood have touched every citizen of lithuania who the opened sphares of freedom, decision, responsibility, alternative and other conceptualized quiet different. It depended mostly on individual social experience, needs, interests, expectations for future and so on. Teenagers responded complicated to these sudden changes as their pure experience, reduction of control at their families and schools, grunged and resplendent world examples became more attractive to teenagers than their school desk. Therefore in the year 1990-1993 many teenageers who hadn't main school background have stoped attending schools; they were spending their time at streets, squares, markets and constructionals. The reaction to this problem was fairly rapid and in the years of 1993, 27th may the collegue of lithu-anian republic ministry of culture and education approved the concept of youth schools which has an aim of „helping to carry back to schools teenagers and youngsters" (concept of youth schools). First youth schools have been opened in Vilnius, Radviliskis, Ukmerge, Kaunas and elsewhere. The concept of youth schools that has been adjusted in the year 2005 claims that „during thirteen years of existence of youth schools 6333 pupils finished program of primary education and 5112 gained primary background. These numbers support envaluable contribution of youth schools in point of human and nation. Tight and contonous relations between scientists - researchers and teachers of youth schools concerning problems of perfection of pedagogical process alow to maintain that one of the most important factors for positive work results of youth schools are heads of these schools. Their qualification, professionality and personal attitude towards helping teenager - youngster is programmed in their schools vision and mission as well as in their attitudes of life and work. For verification of this proposition qualitative research was organized. Object of the research - proceeding of the heads of youth schools. Aim of the research - to analyse the attitude of the heads of youth schools towards possibilities of educational process restoring pupils' learning motivation. Goals of the research: 1. To discuss the problems of youth schools pointed by the heads of these schools. 2. To ascertain the possibilities of schools to restore pupils' motivation. Methods: analysis of paper, case analysis, analysis of answers to open questions. On purpose to know the real situation, to hear unre-stricted answers, comments, proposals anonimic ques-tionnaire with open questions was given to the heads of youth schools. When reducing the data of questionnaires all answers were encoded and introduced into statistical programme. When doing the quantitative data analysis 5 most significant and 5 least significant answers of the handed question were dealed.
