Summary/Abstract: The artide provides a major part of quantitative and qualitative data collected through a research concerning educational activities performed by preservice teachers during the time of their pedagogical practice. This artide supplies the data associated with the main dimen-sions of educational changes such as the application of new informational technologies, working with students of special needs, working with students from immigrants' families, working with students of very high skills. Be-sides this, the artide emphasizes the change of attitude towards the teacher's job. This job has been revealed to be more difficult, reąuiring more responsibility as well as better knowledge of subject, higher pedagogical prepa-ration and broader view of cultural life than it was thought to be before pedagogical practice. It is observed that a part of preservice teachers use informational and communicational technologies during the time of pedagogical practice, however more than a half of all preservice teachers have not used informational and communication technologies during lessons. The preservice teachers who have indicated using these technologies evaluates their own competencies of applying ICT as good. It is pointed out that approximately one third of respondents have had to create adapted or modified pro-grams, less than a half of respondents have had an op-portunity of working with students showing high skills and preparing to participate in regionai, national Olympiads, International competitions, scientific contests of youngsters. Having considered the attitude of teachers who have led the pedagogical practice, the attitude of students, it is stated that there is a lack of these things (ones the preservice teachers should have): knowledge of subject and didactics, diligence, responsibility while preparing for lessons and working individually; general competencies such as ability to communicate and express their own minds, being aware of cultural life, trends, the experience of behaviour regulated by standards of pedagogical ethics.
