Summary/Abstract: Yugoslavia is a community of several nations and nationalities so that the ethnic composition of her population is very diverse. In Yugoslavia live Serbs, Croats, Slovenes, Montenegrins, Moslems, and many other nationalities. In addition to Italians, Austrians, Hungarians, Rumanians, Bulgarians, Greeks and Albanians, i. e. people originating from neighbouring nations, Yugoslavia is also populated by persons of Turkish, German, Slovak, Ruthenian, Gypsy, Polish, Wallachian and other nationalities, who make up 12.5 per cent of the country’s total population.
