Summary/Abstract: The blogosphere plays the ever growing role in shaping consumer attitudes. Bloggers advise people, inter alia, how to eat, dress, practise sport, what to read, what music listen to and what colours the house walls should have in order to improve dwellers’ wellbeing. A consequence of the growth of popularity of blogs is the greater and greater recognisability of blogs authors as well as the interest in the very authors of blogs. An aim of considerations is to examine the existing on the Internet, Polish-language blogs devoted to nutrition, from the point of view of problems of sustainable consumption. The author analysed the contents of blogs, accessibility of the information related to sustainable consumption as well as the way of that information exposition. He also assessed the way of communicating the posted information. Studies of the literature and the carried out analysis will allow for identification of the gaps related to a proper handling of the contents on the Internet connected with sustainable consumption.
