Summary/Abstract: This texts is an introduction into the linguistic and cultural richness of Bülent Ceylan‘scomic repertoire. The paper delineates the phenomenon of ethno-comedy in its generalscope (as a whole), and also with a particular focus put on works of the said cabaret man.The characteristcs of the dialect of the Kurpfaltz‘s region included here is reflected in hiscabaret material.
