Summary/Abstract: The study provides little-known evidence of the life of the great man Ion. C. Bratiano. At the time of his exile in Paris (after the repression of the revolution of 1848), he was led - by his French antourage to what it appears - into the "conspiracy"Of the "Hyppodrome" set up against the Emperor Napoleon ΙΠε, in 1853.As a result of a search, the Imperial police found the press whose conspirators had imprinted the "revolutionary manifestos." I. C.Bratiano was arrested and sentenced to prison for three years. Despite all the pain that he gave himself to support his innocence, the French authoritiesSuspicions about him and about the political activity he later his country.In 1868 when he was minister and close adviser of Prince Charles ofHohenzollem, a report from the French consul at Iassy, Delaporte, shows us that he was still being watched
