Summary/Abstract: In their edition of the Old Lithuanian Cathechism of Daukða Vida Jakðtienë and Jonas Palionis (1995) transcribed the original (see p. 83, line 6, 17) as Msrinni and repeated the same transcription in the Þodþiø formø rodyklë: muriná adj. a. sg. m. 617 (see p. 686, line 7). A similar adjective does actually exist in Old Lithuanian (e.g.: marinas -à f. adj. "µchmuãig" [cf. LKRÞ2 II 110]; mur¸yñµki / aethiopieus. murinas in Sirvydas oldest vocabulary) but it is normally attested as an -o stem (marinas, not *murinis!) and normally written with only one .
