Summary/Abstract: Entrepreneurship in rural areas can be seen as one of the main factors that can reduce poverty, migration and affect the job creation in rural areas. Sustainable economic and social development of the country can not be achieved without the development of rural areas. This in turn requires the creation of conditions for the development of entrepreneurship in rural areas and its promotion. The paper discusses factors and obstacles to the development of entrepreneurship in rural areas.
