Summary/Abstract: In the article, the author discusses the concepts helping to increase the efficiency of grammar material assimilation: the bilingual model of speech generation and the quantization of linguistic information. On the base of Janusz Henzel’s elaborations, she presents the schemes concerning the bilingual model of speech generation and formulates conclusions for foreign language teaching. She also discusses the concept of quantization of linguistic information, taking into consideration the process of forming linguistic information quanta in learners’ consciousness, their graphic form, translating from a mother tongue into a foreign language in the inner speech and translation exercises connected with them. The article contains, prepared also by its author, examples of linguistic information quanta, addressed to students of the third year of Russian philology.
