Stanisław Leśniewski’s Second Solution of Russell’s Antinomy

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the project of a mereological solution of the antinomy which is more maturethan the first one. It is a formalized and axiomatized theory in which Russell’s structure cannotbe reproduced. An important component of the solution is the analysis of the advantages of theconcept of a mereological class over the concept of a distributive class.
