Summary/Abstract: This article aims to present research on linguistic picture of „a female dog” (eng. meaning bitch), specifically a reflection what does it mean to be “a female dog” on a Polish-language websites. The article presents the most common components added to this determination. The article briefly presents a dictionary description of the female dog and its image on the dictionaries of Linde and of Doroszewski.
