Summary/Abstract: The paper aims at knowing the features of the liquid discharge regime upstream of the Jijia hydrographical basin. This paper has studied the floods occurred upstream of the Jijia River to downstream of Broscăuţi (an area of 300 Km2) in June - July 2010. The analysis revealed that these were historical floods, with an excess probability of maximum discharge (1-3%). The activity is comprised in a synthesis on the integrated management, associated to the floods and the flash floods occurring in the analyzed area.
