Summary/Abstract: In the general parameters, the landslide represents a major problem of the contemporary world. In the field of specialized study - geomorphology, the landsliding represents a gravitational geomorphological process to which the geomorphologist determines the causes, morphographical, morphology, age and other characteristics, but he can also find solutions mitigation or stop the process itself or its effects. One of solution is represented of the landslide hazard map which is made according Government Decision no 447/2003. By this study and on the basis of methodological norms from this government decision, we want to accomplish the landslide hazard map for Bicaz catchment area. The map can be the document based upon which the district public authority and local public authority may declare an area as a risk area to landslides. Once declared as an area of risk to landslides, then can be taken management measures pre and post disaster that can be suitable to local communities.
