Summary/Abstract: Professional journalism requires much time and energy, sometimes to the prejudice of reading. Nevertheless, books can give new idea for shows and interviews, and a more complex understanding pf the world in which we live. The author explores this sometimes subtle relationship between journalism and books, indexing also some topical aspects: the future of mass media, the future of literature, the future of reading, tabloidization.
