Summary/Abstract: In this study, we aim to analyze the depth of French surrealist poet Paul Eluard’s poetry experience, and in frame of thematic method we try to reveal that that Eluard’s poetry is based on a deep philosophy contrary to its plain discourse and that it has a unique path rooted in both the historical conditions of the era and the poet’s private life. As we go deep into the internal structure of Eluard’s poetry, we see that it is based on an interesting dialectical basis in the context of “disengagement” and “continuity”. In this process of mutual change, the transformation and formation of the being has not “linear” but “circular” process. However, in this association of opposites, what really matters in Eluard is the “natural flow” which can be defined as healthy, entitative, natural and harmonic flow of life and the being freed from any kind of interference. The primary fact, which is the main law of the unity of the being, is then philosophical that exposes all levels of being before everything, in other words it is ontological. Problematic relation of the being in formation world is a main subject in Eluard’s poetry. Thus, Eluard is in favor of keeping all communication channels open, yet it is a sign of integrity of the being which is a part of everything. According to Eluard, the process of reconstitution or reconstruction in consistent integrity is the only and eternal reason of existence, more precisely human existence. In this sense Eluard has an endless faith in humanity. Every other thing that is comprehended and created by human consciousness is nourished by the same vein and human- with his flesh and blood- originates from the same substance with the world itself.
