Training Cultural Intelligence with the Intercultural Communication Courses

Summary/Abstract: Different cultures collide more often now than in the past. Therefore developing skills that address an efficient intercultural communication becomes a critical aspect in today’s life. Te purpose of our research is to identify to what extent different universities worldwide include in their curriculum the study o intercultural communication. We are also interested how the different intercultural (business) communication syllabi provided by these universities look like, and to compare their content in terms of efficiency and effectiveness in building intercultural communication skills. We will try to emphasize the similarities and differences that will be found during the syllabi analysis.
