Strategic controlling of universities

Summary/Abstract: The issue of strategic controlling of a university is not completely discussed in the contemporary literature. In this context, the main aim of this article is to justify the advisability of that issue and to present the concepts, their essence and solutions of strategic controlling of a university. This paper proposes a co-ordinating concept of such controlling, explains its idea and presents organizational and instrumental solutions of strategic controlling. Among these solutions essential research results relate to the conditions of organizational solutions, organizational forms and tasks of strategic controlling at university and instruments of strategic management and strategic management accounting for the purposes of controlling as well. In the paper the hypothesis was taken, according to which proposing a specific solutions of strategic controlling of a university will help to increase the efficiency of its implementation and functioning. In the process of the solutions of strategic controlling of a university the analysis of the literature and associated with that analysis the scientific description for the explanation and interpretation of scientific truth and to propose new solutions were taken as a research method.
