An important thing is how organizational routines are evolving to ensure organization’s survival. The nature of organizational routines is close to the phenomenon of organizational culture. A cognitive objective of the article is to identify epistemological relationship between organizational culture and organizational routines at the level of artifacts. The culture and organizational routines manifest themselves in the process of change in some form of symbols. The study assumes the possibility of the parallel use of the management paradigms, which gives the ability of objectivity and complementary perspective of the organization. The conclusions of the qualitative analysis indicate that organizational routines are part of the organizational culture and its manifestations are a subset of cultural artifacts. These artifacts are highly flexible. The paper is a result of literature studies and author’s experience connected with participating in many research-explorative projects.
