Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, quality is no longer considered as trumps in the battle for the customer. It has become a prerequisite for the functioning of an organisation on the contemporary market. It has been replaced with innovation treated as a key to gain an advantage. Nevertheless, the applied measures aimed at creating both the organisation’s quality and innovation appear to be closely interrelated and mutually complementary. Thus, they constitute a strategy for constant re-finement. The objective of this paper is to determine the relationship between the application of selected techniques for quality management and the declared level of innovation and elements for the evaluation of the level of its implementation. In order to indicate these relations, selected enterprises in Podlasie region underwent survey research. The answers contained in the survey were coded on the nominal or ordinal scale. They were explored through the correspondence analysis that was conducted with the use of R software.
