Summary/Abstract: The article investigates the images of Bulgarians in the Croatian literature. It deals with the meaning of the relations between the Balkan peoples regarding their common past and some common cultural prerequisites. Based on a sample of literary works from the 20th century some basic conclusions about the presence of Bulgarians in the Croatian literature are drawn.
