Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the self-mythology of motherhood of the poet Elena Guro who belongs to the futuristic group 'Gileya', who tend to the self-mythology of symbolism. Despite the fact that all Guro's works are fragmentary, they are interrelated, they penetrate into each other and grow from her sharp sensitivity to the word sign. This is how Guro's mythological world comes into being, her word is an organic metaphor through which the real essence of the things and phenomena of the world appears. Using different systems of signs in her works the poet tries to activate the language means at maximum. Guro's works are an attempt for realization of arts synthesis based on the literary art and state the problem of searching for new dimensions in the poetic expression.
