Regional policy in the face of demographic changes

Summary/Abstract: Demographic changes influence practically all parts of social and economic life from a macro perspective to the community level and finally family and individuals. Demographic changes have an impact on the spatial structure of rural and urban areas. They affect the lifestyle patterns, local decisions, real estate market, infrastructure and decision-making processes as well. In this paper some of the quality problems have been highlighted that are the result of demographic changes at local and regional level, such as local and regional consequences and possible ways of solving demographic problems at the regional level.
