Summary/Abstract: The article amalgamates different visions on the "impossibility" of memory in the culture of simmulation — visions implicated within the interweaving of two discussions: the discussion on the potential of the interactive media and the discussion on the postmodern culture. The idea however is not to stick to those visions but rather to delineate a possible way of objection which stems out of the thesis that memory is rather introducing into action, than a passive registration of experience. That is, even if it is unthinkable in terms of a scheme of reference of the recollection to a certain group identity, memory is to be thought as collective in virtue of the fact that the very action unfolds itself as an openness to the Other (and in this sense — as intersubjective).
