Summary/Abstract: This paper identifies the main factors influencing the competitiveness of automotive sector enterprises in Poland and in Europe. An analysis concerns competitiveness conditioning connected with economic entities localization. The survey shows that automotive sector enterprises competitiveness depends upon their organization, employees competence, elasticity, competitive prices, forward delivery, quality and lower costs. There are also threats that automotive sector can be exposed to growing employment costs, lack of management staff, low level of elasticity regarding work legislation, difficulties in making quick decisions if a center is localized abroad, low level of both investment encouragements as well as country engagement in new investment process.
